QUALIFICATION: Management NVQ Level 3 & Level 4

LEVEL 3

DURATION: The duration of this course is generally 9 - 12 months.

AIM OF THE COURSE: This course covers the full range of reponsibilities required for first-line managers with decision-making responsibilities.

ENTRY AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
All participants should ideally be practising first line managers with two years full time or three years part-time work experience.
Ideally you should have a background which will enable you to benefit from the programme.
Candidates are required to take a total of seven units: four core and three optional units.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

PROGRESSION LEVEL 3 :

Directly onto the full ILM Level 4 NVQ in Management.

LEVEL 4

DURATION: The duration of this course is generally 12 - 15 months.

AIM OF COURSE: This course covers the full range of responsibilities required for middle managers with a wide span of control.

ENTRY AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
All participants should ideally be practising managers with demonstrable performance.
Ideally you should have a background which will enable you to benefit from the programme.
Candidates are required to take a total of eight units: five core and three optional units.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

PROGRESSION LEVEL 4:

Directly onto the full ILM Level 4 NVQ in Management

DELIVERY FOR LEVEL 3 & LEVEL 4:

With support from an assigned assessor who will assist with evidence election

ASSESSMENT LEVEL 3 & LEVEL 4:

Assessment through a portfolio and/or professional discussion

ILM MEMBERSHIP LEVEL 3 & LEVEL 4:

On achievement you are eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Institute of Leadership Management (AMInstLM)
